Four photographs show a woman with her hand on a balustrade as she looks back toward the camera and then proceeds to walk down a flight of stairs.

Sight Lines is a move away from photographing myself just in my house. I wish to observe how I am where there is greater unfamiliarity, to avoid walking into, accidentally touching or knocking over things. I am not alone in feeling how easy it would be to retreat and remain at home. Self-Portrait, 2021

Reflections and details have their own presence. When I revisited the staircase and looked at the painting with the reflection of the art-décor chandelier and the wall-hanging I felt the messages they contained spoke of remembrance to be better understood close-up. Self-Portrait, 2021
